WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY CHILD IS BULLIED ONLINE?
Cyberbullying is prevalent on social media and online games, make it a habit of asking your child about their ‘Digital Day’ to keep lines of communication open about their online world. If they tell you they are being Cyberbullied, treat it as if it were in person bullying, contact the bullys parent, escalate to a teacher if need be, and be sure to take a screenshot the bullying so you can have a discussion about it.

Congratulate your child on speaking up.  Teach your child to be a Cyber Superhero: an Upstander rather than a Bystander.

  • positive review  Be in Touch is an absolute invaluable initiative and resource for parents and their children, and even for grandparents like myself, as we navigate this ever growing digital landscape. The digital connected world has such incredible value, but also many challenges, as not only we are being exposed to very powerful negative agendas over the web, but also the danger of devices being the new addiction. Josh and team, thanks so much for coming form a deep values-based motivation to support us in this way.

  • Looking forward to trying out the platform. On paper, it looks super-boss. I will write a more detailed review once I have everything running (5 kids, 7 nieces/nephews - all under 15)

  • positive review  First time to attend Be in Touch webinar on digital parenting, as a father of an 8- and 5-years old boys I was not really aware of how dangerously a digital world without control can affect my kids. I have now understood that I need to communicate with them and have agreement with gaming, as to how long and what games are safer for them. screen time is very important. I will strongly recommend any parent to follow this page for their children digital well-being.

  • positive review  Be In Touch is truly making a difference. I have worked with the team on some projects and have the greatest appreciation for the people they are and the work they do. Speaking from an Education Technology side, the value they add to the increased use of technology by learners is invaluable. Their message is clear - if you don't know what is going on in your child's online life, you don't know what is going on in your child's life.
